Jan M. Alexander combines fantasy, mystery, romance, and literary genres into her writing brew. During non-writing hours she enjoys watercolor painting, feeding unsalted peanuts to crows and titmice or exploring different hot cocoa recipes. Her short stories have appeared in Eucatastrophe Literary Magazine and The Avalon Literary Review. She’s also published stories in Grasslimb, Peregrine, Persephone Literary Magazine, Primavera, and The Best of Vine Leaves Literary Journal (now Vine Leaves Press) under the name Janîce M. Leotti.

 

Jan was born and raised in New York and shares her life with her wisecracking husband, Paul, who is an award-winning landscape painter. Together they enjoy haunting the woodlands of New Jersey and New York.

 

Currently, Jan is hard at work on more short stories and her second novel.
